Ice it down and drink it straight from the can, or pour it into a pint glass. It pairs nicely with spicy dishes and pizza.
Each can is 12 fluid ounces — the standard single-serve beer size.
Athletic Brewing was founded in 2017 by Bill Shufelt and John Walker, who started out test-brewing in Stratford, Connecticut. The company is still Connecticut-based, with its East Coast brewery and headquarters in Milford, CT, plus a second brewery and West Coast headquarters in San Diego, California. Everything we carry from them — Run Wild IPA, Layback Lime & Salt, Oktoberfest, and First Ride — is brewed non-alcoholic from the start rather than dealcoholized.
Non-alcoholic beer is brewed just like traditional beer using water, malt, hops, and yeast—but the alcohol is removed or reduced to less than 0.5% ABV (Alcohol by Volume). This is typically done through techniques like gentle heating, vacuum distillation, or special yeast strains that produce minimal alcohol.
Yes! Thanks to innovative brewing methods, many non-alcoholic beers offer the same depth of flavor, aroma, and body as their alcoholic counterparts. Whether you’re into hoppy IPAs, crisp lagers, or rich stouts, there’s a great-tasting NA beer to match your style.
Most non-alcoholic beers contain less than 0.5% ABV, which is legally considered non-alcoholic in the U.S. For those seeking 0.0% ABV, we offer options clearly labeled as such in the product description.
