Not all of our non-alcoholic beverages are 100% alcohol-free. Some contain trace amounts of alcohol at less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.  This is consistent with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s labeling policy, which permits the use of the term, “non-alcoholic” to describe a product that contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

If you are looking for products that are 0.0% alcohol by volume, look for the "Alcohol-Free" badge on the product page.

Most functional and nootropic drinks are made with natural ingredients and are safe for daily use. However, effects vary based on ingredients and individual sensitivities, so it’s best to check labels and consult a healthcare provider if you have concerns.

We carry a few hundred different products on our website with all different ingredients. We suggest you consult with your doctor regarding specific ingredients. Everything we carry is non-alcoholic-- less than 0.5% ABV-- and very popular with our customers who are pregnant (and those who aren't, too)!

Some of our products contain adaptogens, nootropics, and other herbs that are not recommended for people who are pregnant, but we're not doctors and do not give medical advice. Every body and pregnancy is different, so we suggest talking to a healthcare professional if you're unsure.

Non-alcoholic spirits are specifically developed for mixing in non-alcoholic cocktails. These spirits taste great when mixed with soda water, tonic water, sodas, juices, and even other non-alcoholic spirits, but they might taste a little weird on their own. You're welcome to try them neat (we can't stop you!), but we don't recommend assessing whether or not you like a non-alcoholic spirit without mixing it, first.

Yes, many non-alcoholic functional drinks contain ingredients scientifically linked to stress reduction, relaxation, or cognitive enhancement. Adaptogens like reishi mushroom promote calmness, while nootropics like Rhodiola Rosea may boost energy and mental clarity.

Yes! High-quality non-alcoholic sparkling wines are designed to closely mimic the crisp, dry, and effervescent taste of traditional champagne. Many use premium grapes and traditional fermentation methods to create complex flavor profiles, making them an elegant and satisfying alternative.

Functional beverages are drinks infused with ingredients like adaptogens, nootropics, and botanicals to support wellness, reduce stress, and enhance cognitive function. Nootropic beverages, in particular, are designed to boost brain performance, improve focus, and support mental clarity. Most claims are not verified by the FDA, and effectiveness varies from consumer to consumer.

These beverages may help reduce stress, improve focus, enhance mood, and promote relaxation without the use of alcohol. Ingredients like ashwagandha, L-theanine, and lion’s mane mushroom are commonly included for their cognitive and stress-relief benefits.

Dealcoholized wine is wine that has gone through the entire wine making process-- pressing, fermentation, and aging-- before the alcohol is removed.

Most wines are dealcoholized using a technique called "vacuum distillation", where the wine is heated under a vacuum at very low temperatures. This allows for the alcohol to evaporate at a much lower temperature than boiling it off on your stove, like when you cook with alcohol or spirits. The result is that the flavor molecules that make up the flavor notes stay intact, giving our dealcoholized wines their characteristic complexity.

Sometimes, producers may add grape juice, grape must (a crush of whole grapes), sugar, or flavoring agents back to the dealcoholized wine in order to bulk up the body or balance the flavor.

For a drink to be legally non-alcoholic, it has to be 0.5% alcohol by volume or less. While this doesn't make it totally alcohol-free, it does mean it is impossible to experience any intoxication or other psychoactive effects from alcohol. For context, a slice of sourdough bread or a ripe banana has more alcohol by volume than any of our drinks!

If your order arrived incorrect and is unconsumed and unopened, we will work with you to get a replacement or refund. Just let us know within 30 days from when you receive the product. Shoot us a note with your order number and reason for return, and we’ll start the process — hello@thezeroproof.com. Please note, we cannot accept returns or process refunds of opened bottles.

Orders above $125 include free shipping! Anything below is a flat $12.99 for the entire order (so make sure you order more bottles!).

Unfortunately, sometimes carriers have tracking errors. Occasionally, customers will get a delivery notification; however, the package will show up a day or two later. If your order does not arrive 48 hours after your delivery confirmation, please send us a note to hello@thezeroproof.com, including your order number, and we will make it right for you.

We do our best to carefully prepare and ship your package as ordered, however sometimes there is room for human error. We apologize! If that is the case, please chat with us or send us an email at hello@thezeroproof.com. Provide your order number, explain the issue, and include images so we can take care of it.

If you have ordered multiple items, your order may be divided in separate shipments, and delivered at different times. Please chat with us or email us at hello@thezeroproof.com, with your order number and the missing item or items, so we can look into it for you.

We do our best to package the delicate glass bottles safely, but sometimes the bottles break in transit. In the rare event that they do, please take pictures and send us a photo within two days of receiving the product to hello@thezeroproof.com. Provide your order number, explain how the items arrived, and include the photos so we can process a claim with the carrier and provide a replacement or refund.

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and all of that other good stuff (if checking out from your mobile device).

Your package should arrive in 5-7 business days, but please allow some extra time during the winter. As always, we will communicate as your shipments go out. Thank you for your patience!
