Ritual Zero Proof Non-Alcoholic Rum

It's a lush, dark botanical recreation of rum, with sweet vanilla, ripe banana and burnt orange notes plus hints of caramelized sugar and dried apple. It's built to taste rum-like in a cocktail rather than to be sipped neat.

Mix it into your favorite rum cocktails as a straight 1:1 replacement — think a non-alcoholic Mojito, Daiquiri, or a decadent holiday Eggnog. You can also pour it over ice with sparkling water and a squeeze of lime.

Each 750 ml bottle is made with filtered water, sugar, natural flavors, caramel color, xanthan gum and citric acid, with 10 calories and 2g of sugar per 1.5 oz serving.

Ritual Zero Proof is made by Ritual Beverage Company, which is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Best friends David Crooch, Marcus Sakey, and GG Sakey launched the brand there in 2019 after working through hundreds of recipes with bartenders and chefs. In September 2024, Diageo North America acquired Ritual, with co-founder David Crooch staying on with the brand.

For a drink to be legally non-alcoholic, it has to be 0.5% alcohol by volume or less. While this doesn't make it totally alcohol-free, it does mean it is impossible to experience any intoxication or other psychoactive effects from alcohol. For context, a slice of sourdough bread or a ripe banana has more alcohol by volume than any of our drinks!

Some contain trace amounts of alcohol at less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.  This is consistent with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s labeling policy, which permits the use of the term, “non-alcoholic” to describe a product that contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

Non-alcoholic spirits are specifically developed for mixing in non-alcoholic cocktails. These spirits taste great when mixed with soda water, tonic water, sodas, juices, and even other non-alcoholic spirits, but they might taste a little weird on their own. You're welcome to try them neat (we can't stop you!), but we don't recommend assessing whether or not you like a non-alcoholic spirit without mixing it, first.
