Liber & Co. Caramelized Fig Syrup

It's a concentrated, sweet fig syrup made with caramelized California Black Mission and Calimyrna figs, with notes of brown sugar and a subtle spice. That richness adds real depth to a drink rather than just sweetness.

Liber & Co. is a Texas cocktail syrup maker started in 2011 by Chris Harrison and brothers Adam and Robert Higginbotham, who met as students at the University of Texas at Austin. They make their syrups in their own production facility in Central Texas — their site's about page describes a custom facility in Austin, TX, while their current listed address is 4045 Airport Rd. in Georgetown, TX, just north of Austin. The syrups themselves are non-alcoholic, so they work just as well in zero-proof drinks as in cocktails.
