Caleño Light & Zesty Non-Alcoholic Tropical Gin

It's a tropical spin on gin — classic juniper up front with pineapple, lemon peel, and Colombian Inca Berry for brightness. Light and zesty, just like the name suggests.

Pour it over ice with tonic and garnish with a pineapple wedge for a tropical G&T, or shake it with pineapple juice. It also works as a straight gin replacement in your favorite gin cocktails.

The 500 mL bottle holds about 10 servings at 1.7 fl oz each, with 20 calories per serving. It's made with water, glycerin, botanical extracts and distillates, natural flavorings, citric acid, and preservatives (potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate).

Caleño is made by Caleño Drinks, a UK company founded by Ellie Webb, who started distilling in her kitchen after a trip through Colombia and built the brand around tropical flavors inspired by the city of Cali. The company is based in Bristol, England, where Caleño Drinks Ltd is registered, and it's a certified B Corp. Both the Light & Zesty and Dark & Spicy bottles we carry are the brand's original 0.0% spirits.

For a drink to be legally non-alcoholic, it has to be 0.5% alcohol by volume or less. While this doesn't make it totally alcohol-free, it does mean it is impossible to experience any intoxication or other psychoactive effects from alcohol. For context, a slice of sourdough bread or a ripe banana has more alcohol by volume than any of our drinks!

Not all of our non-alcoholic beverages are 100% alcohol-free. Some contain trace amounts of alcohol at less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.  This is consistent with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s labeling policy, which permits the use of the term, “non-alcoholic” to describe a product that contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

Non-alcoholic spirits are specifically developed for mixing in non-alcoholic cocktails. These spirits taste great when mixed with soda water, tonic water, sodas, juices, and even other non-alcoholic spirits, but they might taste a little weird on their own. You're welcome to try them neat (we can't stop you!), but we don't recommend assessing whether or not you like a non-alcoholic spirit without mixing it, first.
