Figlia Fiore Frizzante Non-Alcoholic Aperitivo

It's a bittersweet spritz built on ginger, bitter citrus and berry notes, with floral undertones of chamomile and rose. Clean bubbles and citrus make the finish crisp and refreshing — think along the lines of an Aperol spritz, though it really stands on its own.

No — this is the ready-to-drink, canned version of Figlia's signature Fiore apéritif, already spritzed and carbonated. Just chill, pour over ice, and add an orange slice if you like.

Each 8 fl oz can is one serving with 43 calories, 11g carbohydrates and 10g total sugars, with no added sugars. Ingredients include filtered water, white grape juice concentrate, ginger juice, lemon juice, rose and rosemary extracts, natural elderflower flavor, black currant juice concentrate, chamomile extract, ginseng root, lemon balm extract and bitter orange rind.

Figlia is an independent non-alcoholic aperitivo company founded by Lily Geiger, who launched the brand in April 2021 after losing her father to alcoholism and spending time in Italy, where the aperitivo hour inspired her. The company is rooted in New York City, and its design studio describes Figlia as based in New York City and Great Barrington, Massachusetts, near the Berkshires home the brand started from. Both bottles we carry, Fiore and Fiore Frizzante, come from that same small, founder-led operation.

For a drink to be legally non-alcoholic, it has to be 0.5% alcohol by volume or less. While this doesn't make it totally alcohol-free, it does mean it is impossible to experience any intoxication or other psychoactive effects from alcohol. For context, a slice of sourdough bread or a ripe banana has more alcohol by volume than any of our drinks!

Some contain trace amounts of alcohol at less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.  This is consistent with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s labeling policy, which permits the use of the term, “non-alcoholic” to describe a product that contains less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

Non-alcoholic spirits are specifically developed for mixing in non-alcoholic cocktails. These spirits taste great when mixed with soda water, tonic water, sodas, juices, and even other non-alcoholic spirits, but they might taste a little weird on their own. You're welcome to try them neat (we can't stop you!), but we don't recommend assessing whether or not you like a non-alcoholic spirit without mixing it, first.
