Liber & Co. Tropical Passion Fruit Syrup

It's sweet, tart and full-on tropical, made with authentic Peruvian passion fruit juice. The syrup also has a silky texture that adds luxurious body to whatever you mix it into.

It's a natural in zero-proof tiki and non-alcoholic rum drinks, and it shines in a passion fruit Margarita with NA tequila or shaken with non-alcoholic vanilla vodka for a Pornstar Martini served with a splash of ISH or Oddbird sparkling white on the side. You can also swap it for simple syrup in a tropical French 75, sharpen up a piña colada, or pair it with a Campari alternative like Wilfred's or Wilderton bittersweet aperitivo.

Each 12.7 fl oz bottle holds about 19 half-ounce servings, at 40 calories per serving. Ingredients are passion fruit juice, cane sugar, gum arabic and benzoic acid.

Liber & Co. is a Texas cocktail syrup maker started in 2011 by Chris Harrison and brothers Adam and Robert Higginbotham, who met as students at the University of Texas at Austin. They make their syrups in their own production facility in Central Texas — their site's about page describes a custom facility in Austin, TX, while their current listed address is 4045 Airport Rd. in Georgetown, TX, just north of Austin. The syrups themselves are non-alcoholic, so they work just as well in zero-proof drinks as in cocktails.
