Cranberry Sage Mocktail Recipe

Sage smells like Thanksgiving. You expect it in stuffing and use it to add aromatics to turkey so why not bring all that sage has to offer to your beverage menu? This mocktail recipe is absolutely delicious. Tart cranberry juice and sage is a perfect pairing. Despite being two bold ingredients, they play well together. As expected, the cranberry part of this mocktail is tart and sweet. Unsweetened 100% cranberry juice is highly recommended since it brings pure cranberry flavor while giving you complete control over sweetness. As for the sage, it's signature pungency is put to use in the form of simple syrup. Sage is a touch bitter and has a pine-like flavor that makes this mocktail all the more interesting. Lastly, the sparkling water is there for a delightful fizz. This recipe makes one mocktail, but it is super easy to multiply if you're planning to serve them to guests.
